HOUSTON, TX, UNITED STATES, October 19, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- HOUSTON, TX — Celebrating its fifth year, McCune Electric presents Space City Fest, one of Houston's largest free community concerts, returns to Discovery Green on Sunday, October 25, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Organizers expect more than 4,500 attendees this year, up from over 3,000 in 2025, as the event continues its mission to uplift and inspire Houstonians with faith, hope, and love.— Lecrae
This year's lineup features Grammy Award-winning headliner Lecrae, alongside headliners Lizzie Morgan, Miles Minnick, and Lin D, with additional performers to be announced. Nationally syndicated iHeartRadio DJ and Houston Rockets in-arena host Kiotti will serve as event emcee.
"I'm proud to come home to Houston, where I was born," said Lecrae. "This new generation is looking for positive outlets, and that's what we all hope to bring through our work.”
Because October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Space City Fest is asking all guests to wear pink to this year's event in a show of community support and remembrance.
"My sister passed away from breast cancer, and it's something that stays with me every single day," said Vaughaligan "Von Won" Walwyn, Lead Pastor at Space City Church and Event Producer of Space City Fest. "Young women are being diagnosed at rising rates and that's why this year we wanted Space City Fest to connect faith, community, and self-care in one place. We hope that people leave inspired and reminded to take care of themselves and each other."
According to the American Cancer Society's 2026 cancer statistics report, breast cancer incidence has continued to rise in recent years, driven especially by increases among younger women. Guests will be encouraged to schedule mammogram screenings at The Rose, a Houston-based breast healthcare organization.
Space City Fest will be held at Discovery Green in downtown Houston. The event is free and open to the public, with vendor activations, live performances, and community resources throughout the park.
